College Level Events
As we all know with growing challenges in world of technology, new inventions & ideas are emerging day by day to facilitate the students with the emerging technologies A paper presentation competition was organized. In total ‘34’ papers from various colleges were received out of which 28 were selected for presentation.

The Quiz Competition (Brain Pop)
To Challenge the Knowledge, a Quiz Competition was organized by the department. In all twenty (20) teams from various colleges participated and after three rounds, the team from TIT (Excellence) was declared as winner, while team of LNCT was runner.
Model presentation
Topic Name: Vivify the Waste
On 16 April 2010 Model Presentation competition was held in the EC department. A large number of participants brought their models based on various topics. Their models were based on conserving energy resources and utilizing the solar energy. Few nonworking models displayed different ways of harvesting and water saving methods.

Seminar On JAVA Technologies
A Seminar on “Multiple Technologies using One Platform in JAVA” was organized on April 15, 2010, by the CS-Department to enhance the technical skills of Computer science students. Seminar was delivered by HCL Infotech representative and JAVA expert Mr. Mahendra Rajvanshi.
Debugging (Trace the Error)
Debugging is a methodical process of finding and reducing the number of bugs or defects, in a computer program, thus making it behave as expected. Debugging tends to be harder when various subsystems are tightly coupled, as changes in one may cause bugs to emerge in another like to find error in programs of C++, JAVA.
On 16/04/2010 the IT-Department had organized this event. In all 110 students came from different colleges to participate in Debugging and after two rounds, a student from BIST,Bhopal was declared as winner and the student of TIT(E),Bhopal was runner up.
Seminar on PLC(Programmable Logic Control)
Consequent debates and other technical events were also organized so that the managerial as well as practical insight of the students is nurtured. Students are always encouraged to excel in fields of research and development, for which seminars are organized to get review of many Alma matter, by virtue of which students head away towards success. A seminar by eminent personality from Prolific Management based on Industrial Automation was organized on 4 May 2010 by the department which gave an insight view of PLC to the students.
