About Department

The Department of Information Technology started with intake of 60. The department has grown-up considerably and has become a role-model to set the bench mark.

The Department of Information Technology is committed to its mission of achieving excellence through all round development of its students by imparting high quality, research -oriented Under Graduate education to produce competent technocrats. The department encourages high quality research work in the field of Information Technology and Engineering.

A highly qualified team of faculty members is the backbone of the Department. Apart from academic activities they are also instrumental in providing and organizing hands on training prograProf, Workshops, seminars, conferences. The department offers excellent computing facility through latest configuration computer systeProf, advance servers, multimedia kits, leading software, 24x7 internet facility etc. The student computer ratio is one is to one. To make our students globally-competitive, distinguished professional from industries, eminent researchers, expert speakers and guest professors are periodically invited to share their knowledge and expertise with us. Students are always motivated to join various technical and non technical societies and foruProf. The department is in the process of opening the Student Chapter and forming the special interest groups of students.

Department is striving hard to answer the very real need for professional and technical expertise in the field of Information Technology.

The department of Information Technology has been an integral part of our college. Being from the first glimpse, the branch has always been a embracer of efficient and knowledge technical education. The department is well equipped with eminent scholars from all over the nation and the presence of well equipped laboratories adds feathers to its headway towards success. The overall intakes of the students are 60. All knowledge and practicality has always been the motive of the department as a result of which our students create benchmarks in the annual RGPV exaProf.
                           The dept. of Information Technology has a broad and focused team of faculty members. The team includes the faculty members namely Prof. Sandeep Rai, Prof. Ritu Prasad, Prof. Smita Rai, Prof. Kamalesh Azad. They are inculcating knowledge, values and technical awareness to the students.

Recently, IT department organized a Technical Fest i.e. "'ACMETECH 2k10" which included many remarkable events like Paper Presentation, Trace the Error, LAN Gaming, Robo Wrestling, Treasure Hunt ,Add Blitz and Face Painting in order to enhance the student's aptitude and extort their veiled talent. Students from all over the state took part and took the event to the paramount of success; also success of this event was only made possible by the genuine support of students and authentic guidance of the teachers.
