Profile of Dr. R. K. Bharti

Prof. R. K. Bharti, an eminent scholar, renowned academician and prominent educational administrator is presently working as a Group Director MBA (TIT Group of MBA Colleges). University Gold Medals were awarded to him for his academic achievements. He was awarded Ph.D Degree in 1971 by the University on his research work entitled “Industrial Estates in Developing Economies with special reference to India” and the same was published by the National Publishing House, New Delhi, in a book form, in 1977. Dr. Bharti was awarded “National Associateship” by the University Grants Commission, New Delhi for 5 years to undertake high level of research work at the leading institutes/Universities of advanced learning and research.

He has very successfully served Dr. H. S. Gaur University, Sagar (M.P.) as Professor, Head and Dean for more than 20 years.  He has significantly contributed a lot in the promotion of teaching and research in Commerce and Management. Because of his keen interest and able initiatives, the first MBA department in the State of MP was established by the University of Sagar in 1982 and has served there as a founder teacher for 5 years. Prof. Bharti has done very rich and serious research work in the field of Industry, Finance and HRM and completed 3 major Research projects either funded by the UGC or ICSSR. So far about 42 research scholars have been awarded Ph.D degree under his supervision.

Prof. Bharti has got more than 18 books published in addition to more than 100 research papers published in leading Journals of national repute. Recognizing the remarkable and original academic contribution made by Prof. Bharti in the field of Management and Commerce,  the Higher Education Department of Government of M.P. has conferred prestigious award namely- Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma Sirjan Samman  to him in 2010.
