The library building in yellow stone and concrete is based on modern principles of Architecture. Its modular and functional style fulfills the purpose of planned library. The library building, centrally air – conditioned and equipped with computers and Communication Network houses more than 15,000 volumes and has a seating accommodation of 120 readers. Besides the reading hall there are reading rooms for the periodicals section and special collections and an outer reading hall for reading newspapers and magezines.

The Library is fully computerized with an integrated system connected to computer network providing Internet and e-mail facilities. The reference collection of the Library is continuously updated through acquisition of CD-ROM databases and access to Online Databases on Internet. Online Public Access Catalogue facility is also available at the Reference Desk. OPAC can also be accessed through any terminal on the campus network. Library collection can also be searched through Web OPAC.
The Library subscribes 90 journals and 1435 Online Journals. Library has also access to approximately 1435 online journals on various branches of Engineering. List of main overseas journals are given below. The books of International authors like-wise have also been procured by library.

Automation : The operation of Library is both Computerized as well as Manual.
Library Management Software: LS Ease (Libsys)
Issue System : Brownie system during manual operation. Students can borrow 3 Books at a time out of which 2 Books for full semester and one book for a month on rotation basis. Economicaly poor students can borrow 2 books more on special recommendation of Group Director. There is special considerations for meritorious students. Top 10 students can borrow 2 more books .
