ELECTRONICS & COMMUNICATION DEPARTMENT

As the lines of famous poet Robert Frost says:

"The woods are lovely dark and deep

But I have promises to keep

And miles to go before I sleep"

.... And so goes the story of one of the most happening and performing field of engineering i.e Electronics & Communication Branch.

The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering has been an integral part of TIT Bhopal right from beginning pursuing research, projects and offering courses in almost all areas of Electronics & Communication Engineering. Excellance in teaching is the hallmark of this department and is reflected in the success of the alumni globally. The alumni hold top position in industry, bussiness and academics Institutions during the year 2006-07 all over the world. They had the leadership role in creating facilities and much advanced centre for VLSI, MATLABS and motivate the students to work on many electronics project along with regular academics programs. Doordarshan, BSNL, Airtel has helped the department by giving the excellant training during year 2006-07 in many different fields. This department has grew up with vision and efforts of faculty. The top rankers of 2006 batch seek admission in undergraduate programs of IITs and are hired by apex industries and govt. agencies after graduation . Day by day the department has been continuosly adapting to the rapidly changing technologal scenario by introducing new research initiatives and courses. Our department gives the best result almost 98% passing by the sincere efforts of the faculty members.Apart from teaching, the faculty members have been vigorously pursuing research and have been regularly publishing research papers in various National and International Journals of repute as well as in prestigious conferences.

EVENTS AND SEMINARS

Last year Spandan was a state level technical symposium, but the initiatives taken by our department and their tireless efforts organised "Spandan-07", a National level technical symposium which included- Paper presentation, Robotics, Lan gaming and Quiz. There was overwhelming response from all around. Participation of nearly 1000 students across the country made this event a mega success .
