Prof. Subhash Mishra, Professor(EC) & Director (T & P) awarded by IETE, CSI and ARG on Engineer's Day (15 Sep 2007)

Institution of Electronics & Telecommunication (IETE), Computer Society of India(CSI), Bhopal and Dr. A. K. Tiwari Research Group(ARG) awarded Prof. Subhash Mishra for his achievements in field of Telecommunications. Well known in the Telecom world for his pioneering work in the field of fibre optics communication networks and cellular mobile networks, Prof. Mishra's career journey has been full of prestigious assignments and achievements both in industry and academics.

With his significant contributions for System Design and field implementation of big telecommunication projects/network Prof. Subhash Mishra is a name to reckon with. The training programs on technical aspects of telecom transmission and seminars organized by him have had wide acceptance. The technical booklets on these aspects prepared by him are used even today by the network engineers.

Celebration of Engineers Day - 15th Sept 2007 Computer Society of India [CSI Bhopal Chapter in association with Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers [IETE Bhopal Chapter] and IES College of Technology [Bhopal] jointly celebrated Engineers Day on 15th Sept. in commemoration with birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Late Sir Mokshagundam Visvesearya.

The function was organised in the campus of IES College of Technology, Bhopal. A series of lectures by experts was delivered by eminent speakers. The programme followed with honoring outstanding eminent dignitaries by presenting citation to Dr. R D Agarawal, Dr. Shailendra Shrivastava, and Prof. Subhash Mishra, for their outstanding contribution to the field of ICT.
